'Fundraising is a great way to support Les Bourgs, it not only brings in much needed funds, but also raises the profile of the Hospice - new ideas bring in new groups of people and are always welcome.'
As an independent charity, we rely on the support of the general public to help us fund our daily operating costs and to continue to do what we do for islanders. Our services are offered free of charge 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
We don't receive any finances from the States of Guernsey towards our running costs of over £20,000 a week and we simply could not keep going without the support from islanders and those further afield who help us raise over £1 million each year.
Friends of Les Bourgs Hospice: The Friends of Les Bourgs Hospice work extremely hard on behalf of the Hospice to raise much needed funds with some very established and successful events, such as the Rock to Rocque and the Clay Pigeon Shoot. To join the Friends of Les Bourgs Hospice Click here.

Towards the end of each year we sell Christmas cards in our shops, store and also the hospice reception, this year these will also be available from the shop section of the website. We also run a Light up a Life campaign, where donations are made for lights on the Christmas tree at Les Bourgs Hospice in memory of a loved one. We also have an annual Flag Day at Les Bourgs Hospice which is allocated each year on a different date.
In addition a huge amount of donated items are given to, and bought from, the Hospice shops.
