Day Hospice patients Sue and Jane with Laura are gardening in the sun today - Fresh salad vegetables and Herbs plus potatoes in the summer.
The Childrens shop has a beautiful cradle and immaculate changing table for sale - both look like new.
The 30 30 riders have been seen by most of you in their bright orange shirts I am sure, there are 56 riders this year riding for 1 hour each day raising much needed money for the Hospice. So why don't you pick someone, see what they are doing, look at the photos and sponsor them. The last day is on 26th May which is the day of the annual Rock to Rocque cycle ride.
The Rock to Rocque cycle ride starts at the White Rock at 0845hrs and if you do the full course you will cycle all the way around our island, down to Rocquaine, where if you want to miss the hills you can also start from here from 0945hrs. Then along the coast to Grande Rocques where you can also join from 1045hrs. The cycle ride is not a race, but a family affair with everyone finishing at the White Rock where they will receive a medal and a certificate and be able to have lunch in town with the Taste of Guernsey and the French Markets both on that day.
So dust off your bikes, download a sponsorship form from the link below and raise some money, have some fun and get yourselves fit on 26th May.
Join the monthly lottery to have the chance of winning one of 10 cash prizes each month. This is an excellent way to support Les Bourgs Hospice for oly £5 a month or £60 a year with a great chance of winning.
Currently we offer 2 top prizes of £1000, 1 second prize of £500, 2 third prizes of £250 and 5 fourth prizes of £100 each month, this will go up as we get more members so your chances of winning remain good.
The draw is done on the 2nd Wednesday of each month and all the results are available via the website.
All winners will be notified by letter.

We have a range of physical and virtual gifts for those times when you are looking for new ideas on what to buy.
Each gift brings some proceeds into Les Bourgs Hospice and there are items suitable for every budget.
Keep looking as the gifts will change on a regular basis and this year our Christmas cards will also be available on-line.
The team of volunteers is essential for maintaining the smooth running of the Hospice and its retail outlets.
There are many ways you can volunteer dependent upon your skills, time available and preferences. Currently we are desperate to recruit volunteers for Tuesdays and Saturdays at the Childrens Shop on The Bridge.
Any time that you have free you are welcome to give to us, we accept volunteers for as little as a couple of hours once a month to those who can comit regularly, everyone is welcome from 16 years up.
