Les Bourgs Hospice has been serving the community of the Bailiwick of Guernsey since 1991 and it is a very special and rewarding place to work.
We are committed to providing the very best palliative care and quality of life to our patients whilst also offering support to their family and carers.
As part of succession planning, an opportunity has arisen for the appointment for the role of CHAIRPERSON

 The Non-Executive Chair will lead the Board and Executive to deliver the Hospice’s mission and vision, providing inclusive leadership, guiding the Board to fulfil its responsibilities for the effective governance of the Hospice. They will act as an ambassador and the public face of the Hospice, in partnership with the Chief Executive.

The position is non-remunerated. Successful candidates will have the following desirable attributes: Strong leadership skills and fortitude to chair Board meetings and to be a guiding hand to the Hospice Team; experience working with volunteers in a charitable organisation; and financial literacy.
