Les Bourgs Hospice employs trained and experienced nurses, auxiliary nurses, a part time cook, a cleaner and a small team of administrative staff.  Outside of the nursing team only 5 staff are paid and all are part time, the rest of the work is undertaken by our willing team of over 200 excellent volunteers which enables us to keep our staff costs to a minimum.

Nursing Staff

We are looking for Full time, Part time and Flexi Bank Nursing Auxiliaries at this time.

These posts have a varied role working with both the in-patients and the Day Hospice patients and you will be working with a small, close knit team of people giving first rate care to those patient with life limiting illnesses.

Support Staff:

Fundraising Administrator:  We are looking for the right person to take assist the organisation in its existing fundraising activities and to identify and implement new initiatives to help meet our ever increasing on-going running costs.  We are looking for someone to work 30 hrs a week (flexible working essential) and there is a potential for job-sharing for the right candidate.  You need to have relevant experience in event management, good IT and social media skills, public relation skills, full driving license and the use of a car and a good sense of humour!  To arrange an informal visit contact Trish.DeCarteret@lesbourgs.com or to apply please complete an application form (below) and write inclosing your CV to Mrs Jo Boyd, Hospice Director, Les Bourgs Hospice, Andrew Mitchell House, Rue due Tertre, St Andrews, GY6 8SF or email Jo.Boyd@lesbourgs.com by Friday 3rd May.    Interviews will be held on 14th May.
