30 Walks in 30 Days Challenge 2026
1st April, 2026
30 Walks in 30 Days Challenge
Celebrate the arrival of Spring and the lighter evenings by getting active! This challenge is a fantastic way to boost your fitness, enjoy the outdoors, and stay motivated.
What is the Challenge?
It’s simple: walk every day for 30 days between 1st–30th April. How you do it is up to you! Here are some ideas to inspire your personal challenge:
-
Walk a Daily Mile every day for 30 days. Check out the Health Improvement Commission’s walking routes in St Peter Port (pink signs) or explore the West Coast, reservoir, and parks (green signs).
Visit www.healthimprovement.gg for more details. -
Walk 10,000 steps every day for 30 days.
-
Make it competitive! Challenge friends or family to see who can walk the most steps during April.
-
Team up! Form a team of 4 and compete against another team (perfect for inter-office or inter-firm rivalry).
-
Walk the world (virtually)! For example, a team of 4 walking 10,000 steps a day could cover 660 miles in a month—the distance to Denmark or Spain! Where will your steps take you?
You can walk anytime—early mornings, during your commute, on your lunch break, while walking the dog, or after the kids are in bed. Fit it into your day however works best for you.
