Rock to Rocque Cycle Ride

What is Rock to Rocque?
Rock to Rocque is a fun, non-competitive cycling event for family and friends, designed to encourage everyone to get out and enjoy a ride around the island. With two starting points, the event caters for all ages and cycling abilities.

The Route

Date: Sunday, 31st May 2026

Choose from two starting points:

• Top of Val des Terres – 9:00am
  23-mile route
  (Bike drop-off available in the field, with public parking nearby if you’re driving to the start.)

• Grandes Rocques – 11:00am
  9-mile route

Both routes finish at North Beach Car Park, where the Friends of Les Bourgs Hospice will be waiting to cheer you in and present medals to all participants until 2:00pm.

Event Details

• This is not a race—just a great day out!
• The route is well signposted, with marshals at key points so you won’t get lost.
• The full route takes riders from Val des Terres through St Martins, along Fort Road, past the Mallard Complex to Pleinmont Hill, then along the coast back to Town.
• There are plenty of beach kiosks and scenic spots along the way—perfect for refreshments or a picnic lunch.
• As long as you reach North Beach by 2:00pm, there’s no rush.

This event also marks the grand finale for the 30/30 Cycle Challenge participants, who will finish their month-long challenge at North Beach.
