Jethou Trip Charity Day

A not to be missed chance to attend an Open Day in Jethou will soon be available.

Through the generous support of Sir Peter Ogden, people will soon have a unique opportunity to visit the privately occupied island of Jethou on Saturday 16th August 2025 as part of a charity day raising funds for Les Bourgs Hospice.

Tickets for this popular event are £65 for over 18s only and will be released online at midday on Monday 16th June 2025 via www.ticketsource.co.uk.

There will be a new process this year where tickets are reserved for free then paid in full in line within the terms provided when the booking is made. There will be a maximum of 4 tickets per booking.

Included in the price is return travel on Herm Trident, time to walk around the island and a baguette lunch served in Sir Peter Ogden’s Manor Garden. Refreshments will also be available with a Pimms bar and the opportunity to savour a free drink in Jethou’s pub supplied by Liberation Group.

In recognition of the fact that not everyone in our community may be able to afford to support this fundraising event there will be an opportunity to win 4 tickets for the Jethou charity day (worth £260). A raffle draw will take place on Monday 30th June 2025. Tickets for this raffle will be £5 each and may be purchased from the Les Bourgs Hospice charity shop, the Health Connections shop in Market Square.

Please note that pets are not allowed on the island and smoking is prohibited. The trip is not suitable for those with mobility limitations.

The charity day will offer the chance to buy tickets for an exclusive raffle with a star prize of a 25 minute helicopter ride for 6 and many other prizes which has been generously donated by a number of local companies.
